First Post of My New Year

Well, I didn't have a chance to go with the very good suggestions of either Travis or Mike, but since today (or rather, now, yesterday — the 24th) is my birthday, I thought I should put up the first post of “the new year.” Perhaps tomorrow I shall see if I can do one of those suggestions…

(btw, if this post goes through, you may have a backdoor in your CAPTCHA - it might be vulnerable to use replay attacks by using a previously given salt along with the same word as was seen for that salt. I'll test this after I post this comment; I'm not posting this using the same key/word as is given to me.)
