Chick-fil-A

I just found out that the cows favorite restaurant chain is building a location just a few miles down the road from me. This is simply too exciting! How did I ever go through life without knowing about Chick-fil-A for so many years?
I am not quite sure, but in any case, I am really glad they are coming to St. Charles.
You're in for a surprise. Chick-Fil-A is an outrageously over priced hamburger joint with chicken.
Not at all, David. I've been there many times, but there isn't one near me. I love Chick-Fil-A — they have the best chicken sandwiches and then there is that delicious carrot raisin salad… Yum!
(Plus, with a church bulletin, you get one free on Mondays…)
Must be cheaper in Missouri. LOL My wife, 3 kids and I went there 1 time and vowed never to go back. I got my kids a kids meal and there wasn't enough food to feed a toddler in them and it's sad considering the price of the kids meals.
They do have good chicken though.
Another overly priced place is Hoggys. I got all 3 of my kids a kids meal and I got the fish and shrimp platter. Anyway, there was so little food in their meals, my poor kids were still hungry so I had to get them more. All in all I paid almost 47 bucks for just the 4 of us.
Maybe it's me, but I know I can go to Bob Evans and get all 5 of us a 4 course meal for 47 bucks.
It might be a little different in your situation, because it's just you but, for me I have 5 to feed. LOL
Hmm… you might break your vow and do a little deal shopping. Like I said, I find Chick-fil-A rather competitive and they have lots of great specials. Like — since I'm on their e-mail list — in June, I received a free Spicy Chicken Sandwich (no purchase necessary). Last fall, they had a thing where if you showed up wearing a shirt of a sports team (Cardinals all the way!), you got a free sandwich (again, no purchase necessary. Normal combos are, I think, right at $5 for a sandwich, fries and drink.
I do like Bob Evans too, though.
I'm a Wildfire Chicken guy there.
