Bring Back the Challenge
By | Posted at 23:41:25
It's been about six months since the last asisaid Challenge question set was published. The contest expired before anyone nabbed my prize of six months of free web hosting and a domain name. I'm thinking about reviving the challenge with a new prize (maybe an iTunes gift card…). Anyone interested, or is this something I should just let die?
Make it an iTunes card and I might not give up just before claiming the prize.
Well, I don't think that I really spent any time working on the previous challenge (although that might be because I can sometimes be a little late to see the challenge).
The iTunes music store is one thing that I've been able to agree to the terms of service on, specifically the requirement that a person agree not to circumvent their DRM. As someone with an audio player other than an iPod, as well as no desire to take the lengthy (and lossy) route of burning to a CD and then ripping, and the license bans the usage of something like the Hymn tool for stripping DRM from iTunes. Thus, I'd have little use for an iTunes gift card.
I like the iTunes gift card… and if David wins, I would kindly take the gift card.
Ok, then, I think it is an iTunes gift card. David, if you win, I'll come up with an alternative… maybe I'll stick with a domain name and free web hosting, or something else of a similar value.
Let's see if I can get some time to post new questions.
Make that an iPod Photo and you have a contender!
Hmm… I'm afraid the difficulty of the questions would have to be a bit more difficult if that was the case. Anything else?
Bring back the challenge and I may be all over it.
I wasn't around for the last one.
Good, we need more participants! Now, I just need more time…
Next week, maybe.
